MUMMY

I NEED YOUR STORIES MUMMY  / INDRAN / 1981

Mummy

You have not told me any stories of Cinderella’s   getting golden gowns

Grandmas baking cakes in the moon

But you have taught me

How to walk on a slippery road

How to eat a butter less bread

You have not beaten me even once

Because you might have thought

Life will give me a lot

You have not allowed me to shed tears

Because I may need them in coming years

But mummy

I need your stories at least now

After 32 years

I need to save the poor

Magic wands to give them food

I need your stories mummy.
